Do You Play Big or Do You Play Small?
Why do so many people play it small?
Because of fear — simple as that.
Fear of what? Fear of failure or even the fear of success. But most people fail because they feel unworthy, not good enough, small or just not important.
Unfortunately, our culture has made us believe for many years that it is all about us as individuals. That is absolutely not true!
Feelings of self worth can best be cultivated when we are in service of others. When we focus on the greater good and begin to add to the value of other people’s lives are self worth increases.
You have gifts and talents and those gifts were given to you so that you could share them with others. Sharing those talents means you must begin to start playing it big, to start stepping into your greatness.
When you start playing it big you will begin to see and immediate shift not only in your own self worth but your bank account will begin to reflect your greatness as well.
Playing it small usually means a small bank account. If you want more money then I suggest you start using those gifts and talents to impact others. When you do, the money will follow.
Business Challenge or Business Success?
Where there’s a will there’s a way! Have you ever heard that expression? I am sure that you have. I believe in that statement; I really do!
I am the type of person that when presented with a challenge, whether it be personal or business-related I always have several different options worked out in my head. It’s my Plan A, B, C strategy and it’s a strategy that I have used for a long time with great success.
Often times, in my travels, I will hear women speaking about how they want to invest in a coach, hire more help, invest in a training program or attend a workshop I think, “Great; this will really help them move closer and closer to their goal! That will really support her success!”
But when something doesn’t go exactly as planned I often hear those same women say, “Well, I guess that it wasn’t meant to be.”
WHAT?
You’re kidding, right? One tiny obstacle and your ready to throw in the towel? Come on…you would fight harder for that pocketbook you had your eye on in the store if someone was ready to pounce and take it away, but you will let one issue stop you from pursuing the goals of your business?
Let me tell you something…the universe is not conspiring against you and the universe isn’t telling you it wasn’t meant to be.
If you are serious about moving your business forward and having all the time, money and freedom you want, then read on to learn the three simple and easy tips on how to handle when you a wrench gets thrown into your plans.
Strategy #1 Realize That Every Obstacle and Challenge Is an Opportunity for You to Do Something Different
Remember my Plan A, B and C strategy? Well, it’s in times like this that I pull out that strategy mindset and start working on how I am going to make it happen. Often, when I am about to launch a new program or attend a really important event something will be thrown in my path that requires me to think and act quickly to resolve the situation and continue toward my goal. You can do the same thing. Don’t let something side track you into believing that you are not supposed to do what you set out to do. Just use your good judgment and find a way!
Strategy #2 Don’t Let Fear Stand in Your Way
Sometimes our decisions are so big that we let fear seep into our consciousness and that voice in our head begins to try to dissuade us from what we desire. We then mistakenly think this is a sign from the universe that it isn’t meant to be. That is hogwash…and quite frankly a smokescreen.
Remember that fear and doubt is never truth – NEVER!
When you begin to feel that doubt or fear, that is the time to stand true to your initial decision. When you connect with your truth it will help you to recognize why you made the decision in the first place. Learn to trust your intuition and don’t let fear and doubt cloud your ability to listen to your truth.
Strategy #3 Ask for Help
When obstacles present themselves, ask for help. I remember when I was first starting out in my practice I wanted to invest in a training program that was outside of my budget. I knew this training was what I needed to be doing in that moment. I asked a good friend if I could borrow the money and he said yes! Problem was solved and I got the training that I needed to move my business and goals forward.
People are often willing to help so don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it! Remember, where there’s a will there’s a way.
Every successful person has gotten where they are because they believed there was a way to make it happen. They didn’t let excuses, justifications, or problems stand in their way. Don’t let them stand in your way either! You CAN make it happen!
